Illusions A la Carte'

Arm Chopper_ a child from the audience places their arm through the ends, two small blades are inserted and the middle opened up to show separation. Time allotment 3 minutes. more suited for close up.

Boy to Bunny_ a small boy from the audience is placed into the cage and a cloth draped over the top, a feed box is placed inside and when the cloth is removed, the boy has changed into a bunny. Time allotment 5 minutes. Most commonly coupled with the Tilted trunk for re-appearing.

Candle Stick Suspension When the curtain opens, a girl is presented and dances around while the magician entices her to hold still, with a wave of his hand she stops cold, two assistants place her on a table top, the supports are removed to show her suspended, a hoop is passed over her. The supports are replaced, the girl awakened dances off. Time allotment 5 minutes.

Chair Suspension  Two folding chairs are opened and face each other, a board is placed on top of the chair backs. A child is placed on the board and one chair is removed to show the child suspended. A hoop is passed over and dropped on floor around chair. The other chair replaced, the girl climbs off and the board removed and the chairs folded up, take a bow with the girl. Time allotment 5 minutes.

Costume Trunk A trunk on a table is wheeled out to the magician, he opens it and shows three drawers with three costumes. A casual outfit, a work out suit, and an evening gown. A large card with her in the outfit in the picture in each drawer. The drawers replaced, the trunk lid shut, the magician enters the audience with the cards. Having an audience member select a card, the trunk opens and the assistant climbs out wearing the selected outfit. Time allotment 5-7 minutes

Cut and Restored Rope_25' when the magician enters the stage, he places two mic stands about 20' apart. ties one end of the rope to one mic stand, and  the other end to the other mic stand. Retrieving the scissors from his pocket, cuts the rope near one end. Tying a knot in the rope to connect, slides the knot to the other end and unties the knot to show separation. The knot retied, the magician slides the knot to the middle  and unties it to reveal the rope restored.  Time allotment 3-5 minutes

Folding Screen A colorful three panel screen is shown and then folded into a triangle, and a few items pulled out. The screen shown flat again, folded into a triangle, more stuff pulled out. Can be repeated with fewer items pulled each time. Items pulled can be silks, ropes or cord, sponge balls, spring flowers, roll of T P, etc.  Time allotment 3-5 minutes depending what you produce.

Head Chopper A victim/volunteer is invited on stage to assist. after a little repose, he is asked to have a seat in the chair provided. Then the head chopper is introduced, the assistant acts like he doesn't want to continue with the trick, after a little prompting from the audience he places his head in the stocks, a blade is presented, and placed on top, two celery stalks are placed in the two lower holes, when the blade is dropped, the celery stalks fall but not the head. blade removed and the stocks opened to release the volunteer. after a bow the volunteer returns to audience. Time allotment 5 minutes, very entertaining, you would be amazed how many cameras appear out of nowhere when you have the CEO or Pastor in the stocks.

Ribbon Cut in Two  A three panel screen with a gold tube hanging from ribbons is shown, a little girl is asked to hold the tube about waist height, the ribbons are tied together behind her and laced through the holes in the sides of the two panels, two other people hold the ends. On the count off three, pull to cut her in half. Time allotment 5 minutes.

Square Circle On the table is a square tube with a circle tube, both shown empty and placed together, all sorts of things are pulled out.Time allotment 5 minutes. Items pulled can be silks, ropes or cord, sponge balls, spring flowers, roll of T P, etc.

Stocks of Zanzibar  A stockade is presented, the magician is locked in. Two assistants pick up a cloth ring and begin walking around the stocks when suddenly the magician had changed places with one of the assistants. the locks released and assistant removed from stocks. Time allotment 5 minutes.

Tilted Trunk_ a trunk on a table is wheeled out and spun around, the trunk is tilted forward and the lid opened to show empty. The lid closed and placed upright, when the lid is opened the person climbs out. Can be used to make two medium sized people or a calf about three months old or equivalent.

Twister  A colorful box on a stand is wheeled out and spun around, the assistant placed into the box, the head box is spun around a few times. When the doors are opened the assistant is all twisted up. The doors closed and the head box un spun, the assistant steps out unharmed. Time allotment 5 minutes. Various presentations available, assistant comes out in different jacket or assistants revenge by tossing magician in, etc.

Zig Zag_ A strange looking upright box is wheeled in and three doors opened for the assistant to enter, the three doors are closed to reveal spaces for the assistants face in the top part, a hand in the center part, and a foot in the bottom part. Two metal blades are inserted and the middle section is pushed to the side to show division. Can be used with a comical twist with the assistant getting revenge by putting the magician into the box. I fit in the box, I come with it to be used as the assistant in box or if you have an assistant about five and a half foot.
